Harehills Primary School have an exciting opportunity for a very experienced and talented Specialist Learning Assistant SEND to join our team. This is a permanent role with a 6 months probationary period to start in September 2024.
You will be required to take an active role within The Willows team (our SEND provision) working with KS2 children.
This will include:
Supporting children and young people who have a range of significant and often complex SEND
Working within a team to overcome barriers to learning and enable every child to make progress
Inspire & empower children of all abilities and ensure they can take an active part in a broad and balanced curriculum
Building effective relationships with other agencies, colleagues, children and families
Implementing bespoke interventions, gathering information and contributing towards planning and assessments
