The studio places a clear emphasis on BIM excellence, continuous improvement, and staff development, offering a supportive environment with structured CPD, mentoring, and long-term career progression.Your new roleAs a BIM Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting project teams across a range of live architectural projects. You will be responsible for maintaining BIM standards, ensuring coordination and model quality, and supporting the ongoing development of BIM processes across the studio.Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the delivery of BIM-enabled projects across all RIBA stages
* Promoting and maintaining BIM standards, workflows and best practice
* Coordinating models across disciplines and managing information quality
* Providing technical support, troubleshooting and BIM training to project teams
* Monitoring model development and reporting on progress, compliance and coordination
* Liaising with internal teams, clients and external consultants to ensure effective information exchange
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:
* RIBA Part 1, ARB/RIBA Part 1 equivalent, or CIAT-accredited Architectural Technology degree
* 3-5 years' experience in a CAD/BIM coordination role within architectural practice
* Strong understanding of the architectural design and technical delivery process
* Expert knowledge of BIM processes and software, particularly Revit
* Experience delivering BIM training and supporting project teams
* Experience managing BIM projects, including resources, budgets and programmes
* Knowledge of COBie, Uniclass and specification metadata integration
* A good understanding of statutory requirements, quality management, health & safety and duty of care
* Experience with model coordination, federation, audits and clash detection
* Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with clients and consultants
