Key Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial buildings.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
* Bend, cut, thread, and install EMT conduit (½" to 1") using hand benders, mechanical benders, and other necessary tools.
* Pull wire and cable through conduit and electrical raceways.
* Install electrical panels, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting systems.
* Test electrical systems using tools such as multimeters and circuit testers to ensure functionality and safety.
* Adhere to local and electrical codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
* Collaborate with project managers, other electricians, and tradespeople to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Valid state-issued journeyman or master electrician license (if required by location).
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a commercial electrician.
* Proficient in bending and installing EMT conduit (½" to 1") to meet precise specifications.
* Strong knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC).
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work from ladders and lifts, and perform physical labor.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
* Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
* OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
