We are working with a professional sports organisation in the East Midlands looking for a Head of Partnerships. The Head of Partnerships is responsible for identifying, securing, and managing strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth. The role will include the management of a team of Business Development Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with commercial
* objectives.
* Identify and target new partnership opportunities across key sectors.
* Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, pitching, and negotiating commercial
* contracts.
* Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective partners.
* Oversee the activation and delivery of partnership rights, ensuring all contractual obligations are
* met.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, managing day-to-day relationships and
* resolving issues promptly.
* Work closely with marketing, communications, and events teams to deliver integrated campaigns
* and activations.
* Provide regular performance updates and insights to the CCO and senior leadership team.
* Lead and motivate a team of sales and delivery personnel.
* Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven track record of securing high-value partnerships, preferably within sports.
* Significant experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
* Strong negotiation skills with experience managing complex contracts and stakeholder relationships.
* Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
Location: East Midlands
Salary: Circa £50k + OTE
