Job Description Biocomposites is an international medical devices company that engineers, manufactures, and markets world leading products for use in infection management in bone and soft tissue. Its products regenerate bone and target infection risks across a variety of specialties, including musculoskeletal infection, orthopaedics, trauma, spine, foot and ankle, podiatry, and sports injuries. Biocomposites products are now used in over one million procedures per annum and sold in more than 100 countries around the world. The role The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of events across the UK, as well as some international markets, and will occasionally represent Biocomposites at these activities. This individual will work closely with Sales teams in each region to ensure alignment and maximise the impact of every exhibition. They will manage marketing materials stock, liaise with internal teams and external partners, and ensure all activities run seamlessly from start to finish. The role requires a proactive, highly organised professional who thrives on delivering successful outcomes and performing effectively under tight deadlines. Reports to Marketing Manager Location & Working pattern Keele office. Standard working hours (e.g. Mon-Fri, 9.00 – 5.00, 35hpw). Duties & Responsibilities • Plan, coordinate, and execute events across the UK and Internationally, ensuring successful delivery from start to finish while adhering to approved budgets. This includes monitoring costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and reporting on expenditure to ensure events remain financially on track. • Align with corporate branding to develop impactful exhibition stands, ensuring all displays, messaging, and materials reflect our brand guidelines and comply with marketing and regulatory requirements in each region. • Create, manage, and distribute marketing materials, maintaining accurate stock levels. • Liaise with warehouse staff to manage inventory, shipments, and collections for conferences and events. • Occasionally represent Biocomposites professionally at events, building strong relationships with sales representatives, customers, partners and event organisers. • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure event objectives are met. • Respond to requests from distribution partners for marketing materials, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment. • Assist with other marketing duties as required. Essential requirements • Experience in marketing, event coordination, or a similar role. • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. • Proactive and able to take full ownership of tasks from planning through to execution. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging face-to-face with stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with advanced Excel skills. • Flexibility to occasionally travel to attend events Desirable requirements • Proficiency in graphic design, with experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop). • Knowledge of a second language is highly desirable, due to our international presence and collaboration with global teams.
