We are exclusively engaged to support a rapidly growing start-up based in the heart of Milton Keynes, looking for a part-qualified Management Accountant to join their high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business during an exciting period of year-on-year growth.

You will:
Support the Head of Finance in preparing accurate and timely accounts. You should be a self-starter capable of establishing necessary processes and procedures, with coaching from the finance leadership team.
Role responsibilities:
1. Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and analyze business performance.
2. Manage revenue and cost accruals and investigate anomalies.
3. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
4. Develop comprehensive reporting to provide meaningful analysis.
5. Raise weekly invoices, ensuring accuracy through analytics and business understanding.
6. Maintain up-to-date invoice trackers.
7. Assist the Finance Assistant to ensure prompt and accurate invoice processing.
8. Provide support with payroll and process payroll journals.
9. Ensure timely PAYE and VAT payments.
10. Assist auditors with information requests as needed.
You have:
* Prior experience in an accounting role, ideally part-qualified in ACCA/CIMA.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Good analytical skills.
* Experience with Power BI (preferred but not essential).
* Experience in the healthcare sector (preferred but not essential).
This role is hybrid, requiring 3-4 days per week in the office.
