Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver in Luton to transport commercial goods safely and efficiently while ensuring every delivery arrives on time and meets strict transport standards.

Salary: £18.00 – £19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
1. Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles confidently across designated routes
2. Complete detailed vehicle checks before and after every shift; therefore, you maintain full road compliance
3. Deliver goods safely and on schedule so customers receive products without delay
4. Record mileage, delivery details and vehicle information accurately
5. Communicate clearly with dispatch to confirm timings and route updates
6. Follow all UK traffic laws and company driving policies at all times
7. Load and unload cargo when required, securing goods correctly to prevent damage
Essential Skills & Experience
8. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
9. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
10. Previous HGV1 driving experience
11. Strong understanding of UK road transport regulations
12. Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
13. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication
