Opportunity: Accounts Payable (AP) Administrator Contract: Permanent Location: Lisburn Hours: 40 hours a week working Monday Friday. Hybrid working available. The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. We have a new opportunity for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Finance team based in Lisburn. In this role you will be: Processing supplier invoices, resolving supplier queries, and assisting with administration duties in the finance team. Ensuring all invoices are posted to the system in an accurate and timely manner. Keeping track of orders against pro-forma invoices. Ensuring all invoices have a valid PO number before passing for processing. Liaising with suppliers to obtain credit notes where necessary. Processing all cross-hire invoices and keeping a record of all entries processed. Completing supplier payment runs while being aware of cash flow management. Collating internal credit card receipts. Completing supplier DD mandates and new account application forms. Keeping plant-book spreadsheet updated with invoice and payment date details. Assisting when required with administration of vehicle fleet including taxing, insurance, fuel etc. What will help you to excel in this role: Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role. Strong Microsoft skills including Excel. Significant experience dealing with high volume Excellent attention to detail Demonstrable experience of using an accounts software. Excellent communication skills and team player.
