Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, and regional specialties.
Create menus featuring traditional and contemporary Indian cuisine.
Manage spice blends, marinades, and traditional preparations according to authentic Indian culinary standards.
Operate and maintain tandoor ovens, grills, and other specialized kitchen equipment.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage food cost and waste.
Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards according to food safety regulations.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff in Indian cooking techniques.
Work with the Head Chef/Management on menu planning and seasonal dishes.
Ensure consistency in flavor profiling across all dishes.
