Key responsibilities and duties: • Effective reporting of the performance for all facilities projects to internal stakeholders and ensuring that potential issues are escalated through the appropriate channels. • Review, update and maintain current facilities policies and procedures. • Alignment of facilities management goals with business leadership strategy and objectives. • Establishment and application of appropriate facilities governance across all projects to ensure compliance with corporate, statutory and regulatory processes. • Introduce, review and act on supplier Key Performance Indicators. • Work closely with central Supply Chain team to ensure compliance with Standard Aero processes and procedures for purchasing and materials management and maintain the quality requirements of the business in relation to procurement activities. • Assemble best value cost estimates as requested by departments for the delivery of the agreed solution to customer requirements. • Contract Management of all UK Facilities contracts • Ensure successful delivery of site facilities projects to time, quality and cost targets. • Implement processes for the effective control of facilities project and programme changes, ensuring any change to scope are formalised and authorised in line with the assigned delegations. • Ensure that collaborative relationships are maintained for all facilities projects through structured communications and a coherent engagement plan with the customer and suppliers. • Ensure and drive the effective management of project risk for contracted scope, including maintenance of an up-to-date Facilities Risk Register, in the approved format. • Leadership of the facilities delivery team, ensuring clarity of approach and understanding of inter- dependencies for team members and external contractors to deliver multiple complex projects to time, cost and quality requirements. • Set, maintain and continuously improve the facilities project management process. Work within and promote the behavioural competences. • Undertake performance and development management duties for your team, setting SMART objectives in line with business needs and reviewing achievement on a quarterly basis or as required. Carry out regular development reviews to establish and address training needs in line with objectives. • Manage and authorise time and attendance for the facilities team. • Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals. • Generate an opportunity register and articulate dependencies, exclusions and caveats for each opportunity as required to inform the delivery strategy. Desirable • General appreciation of contract management processes and service level agreements. • Previous facilities management experience. • CDM (Construction, Design Management). • IOSH/NEBOSH Certification Organisational Relationships: • Reports directly to the Snr Director Quality & HS&E • Manages the following direct reports: Facilities Manager, Facilities Supervisor and Maintenance Technician. • Keep and maintain relationships with Customers and Key stakeholders: o Facilities Team. o Other Vector Support areas (Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Compliance, EH&S, Fire and Security). o Internally contracted suppliers. o External Suppliers Professional Qualifications/Education and Training: • Institute Of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) Level 4 Diploma (minimum) • British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Membership (professional accreditation) • PRINCE 2, APMP or other industry recognised project management qualification or demonstrable level of experience in the project management discipline. • IOSH/NEBOSH Safety Certification Experience: • Proven capability in delivering value product or complex services opportunities. Ideally has a background in solutions and services and has experience of programme management from opportunity identification through to project delivery. Will provide valuable input into business strategies, commercial discussions and solution delivery. • Experience in a busy Aeronautical environment or similar would be desirable. • Experience of running a facility including management of EH&S aspects within a work area and development/implementation of safe systems of work throughout. • Stakeholder engagement and leadership (both within and external to the business)
