Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their team based in Portsmouth JOB DETAILSPAY RATE: £35 - £40 (Dependent on experience)WORK TYPE: TemporaryWORK PATTERN: Full TimeLOCATION: Portsmouth JOB SUMMARYThe Social Worker will be managing a case load of patients and responsible for their discharge. This could community options or sourcing placements.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
* Assessments to determine an individual's care and support needs, and then regularly review these assessments to ensure the support package remains appropriate.
* Support plans are current and relevant, they help mitigate the risk of individuals entering crisis situations.
* Duty to ensure that adults at risk are safeguarded from harm.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
* Social Work Qualification
* Current registration with Social Work England (SWE)
* Completion of the Skills for Care ASYE Programme or equivalent demonstrationof professional capabilities if alternative route to social work (e.g. non-UK based initial year in practice) or pre-ASYE qualification
* Experience working in an Adults team
