Salary: Up to £42,000
The Role
As the BIM Technician you will join our busy BIM Team to support the BIM Manager with BIM co‑ordination and produce CAD designs for complex fire, life safety, electronic security systems and network infrastructure.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Producing and amending CAD Designs, Constructions and As Fitted models using Revit and AutoCAD software
* Creating take offs from models and presenting them within an Excel spreadsheet
* Designing life safety and security systems (with guidance from Design Engineers)
* Creating schematics and electrical wiring diagrams as needed (with guidance from Design Engineers)
* Exporting DWF and other formats for collaboration internally and externally
* Taking an active role within the continuous improvement of company systems
* Providing reports as appropriate to your Line Manager
* Producing clash detection reports
* Being involved in weekly BIM co‑ordination meetings and actioning any issues
* Maintaining weekly model uploads for the live project that is being worked on
Person Specification
Essential
* Computer literate and proficient in all core Microsoft Office packages
* Prior experience of Revit & AutoCAD software
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* To be honest, trustworthy and to maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties relating to finance and tenders
* Ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and outside bodies
* Ability to work using your own initiative
Desirable
* Previous experience within a related field
* Experience using AutoDesk Construction Cloud
* Experience using Revit MEP
* Proficiency in a European language is desirable but not essential
Working Conditions
The role is based in our Dronfield office, which is an open‑plan office environment with multi‑screen computer use. On occasion the role may require you to attend our other offices.

* Ensure that any Information Technology ‘incidents' are effectively reported and resolved in a timely fashion (internally or externally)
* Maintain a clear desk and screen at all times.
* Compliance to ensure no deliberate breaches in security information and/ or systems.
