Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics
Newcastle Hospital, Jesmond – Nursing Bank, Part‑time. Up to £25 per hour depending on experience.

Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital is a leading private hospital in the North East with a Good CQC rating, offering 27 en‑suite private bedrooms, three state‑of‑the‑art operating theatres, a dedicated breast care unit and on‑site pathology and imaging services. We specialise in orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight‑loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with leading consultants and like‑minded professionals.
* Enjoy a varied caseload with state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff.
* Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.
* Ensure the safe administration of anaesthetics and monitor vital signs throughout surgical procedures.
* Participate in maintaining a sterile operating environment and adhering to all safety protocols.
* Collaborate closely with anaesthetists and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and interact closely with colleagues on the ward.

Qualifications
* Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC). Post‑registration experience is desirable.
* Detail‑oriented, empathetic, and a team player across departments with a passion for exceptional patient care.
Experience
* Post‑registration experience in anaesthesia or related disciplines.
