About the role
The role plays a key part in driving business growth by proactively engaging with new and existing B2B customers while working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The position supports lead generation, opportunity development, and ongoing account activity while acting as a central link between sales, marketing, operations, and customers.
A core focus of the role is to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including installers, contractors, distributors, and wholesalers, acting as a trusted point of contact and identifying opportunities to support sales growth and long-term partnerships.
As a Sales Development Representative you'll be responsible for:
1. External Sales Team: Daily collaboration for lead and opportunity handover or follow up, regional knowledge, information exchange, and support.
2. Marketing Team: Collaboration on lead generation campaigns, marketing campaigns, identified opportunities from customer events
3. Technical Support/After-Sales: For complex product queries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
4. Logistics/Operations: For order tracking, deliveries, and stock availability.
5. Finance/Accounts: For invoicing and credit control queries.
To be successful in the role, you should:
6. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Possess previous experience in business development and cold calling (B2B).
8. Be resilient, adaptable, with attention to details.
9. Learn quickly and understand technical product information related to heating and cooling systems to support cross- and up-selling.
10. Have good command of computer / MS Office.
11. Collaborate effectively and support the objectives of the external sales team.
12. Work independently, take initiative, and manage your own workload efficiently.
13. Speak fluent English.
