We are recruiting a Women’s Team Supporter Engagement Assistant on a casual worker, seasonal basis to primarily support our Women’s Team Operations Manager with women’s football activities. Reporting into the Operations Manager with a dotted line to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will need to be available throughout the season for 24 hours per week across Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday. About the role Establish an engagement strategy to target key demographics and offer an understanding of ECWFC fanbase and opportunities for growth. · Work with the Retail Manager to assist in merchandise and branding opportunities for the women’s team and ensure the ECWFC fan base have purchasing options within our club range. · Focus on matchday experience, making coach road a home venue for the team, highlighting the matchday experience at St James Park and focussing on how we engage more support in the surrounding areas. · Establish a school’s programme, to offer visibility on the Women’s team and support schools in offering football sessions for girls. · Work in partnership with our charity partner CCT to support in creating engagement opportunities. · Develop an external calendar to create positive engagement opportunities such as attending and speaking at assembly’s, youth team sessions and clubs to engage with existing and potential junior supporters. · Work with the Supporter Experience Manager and Supporter Experience Officer to develop and enhance our Junior Grecian offering within women’s football. · Work alongside the Exeter City Supporters Trust and other key Supporters Groups to grow engagement and involvement in the Women’s team. · Establish events specific for the women’s team to assist in generating income, coordinating with the Events Operating Manager to deliver. · Work with our marketing and media team to produce women’s football promotional materials and digital content promoting supporter events & activities. · Work with the commercial team to deliver sponsorship targets and to ensure strong partnerships are established with commercial partners. · Establish strong links with Exeter University to promote the Club and engage with opportunities for students to assist in growing the game · Attend Men’s matchdays at St James Park to offer visibility to the team and further emphasise the ‘one club’ ethos.
