Casual Ballerz CIC is building one of the most inclusive, high-standard football environments in London — and we're looking for talented, committed Physiotherapists or Sports Therapists to join our medical team.
Whether you're a student on placement, a recent graduate, or a qualified therapist wanting to give back, this is your opportunity to support young athletes who are often excluded from elite-level care due to financial barriers.
About the Role
As part of the medical team, you'll provide injury support, prevention strategies, and recovery guidance to our players — both during training and on matchdays.
This is a volunteer role with long-term growth potential. You’ll be surrounded by a like-minded team, passionate about football, youth development, and ensuring no young person is left behind when it comes to proper medical care.
Weekly Commitment (Required):
Monday Training: 7:30–10:00 PM at Kings House Sports Ground (Chiswick, W4)
Saturday Matches: Home or away fixtures across London (afternoons, locations vary)
Sunday Staff Meetings: 8:00 PM via Zoom
Core Responsibilities
Provide training and matchday physiotherapy/sports therapy support
Perform injury assessments and emergency first aid as needed
Lead or support injury prevention and rehab exercises before, during, or after sessions
Monitor and record injuries, treatment delivered, and return-to-play plans
Refer players to external care providers (GP, A&E, or club medical contacts) where appropriate
Maintain and check emergency medical equipment regularly
Communicate effectively and professionally with players, staff, and parents where required
Support the wider safeguarding and welfare framework of the organisation
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Studying or graduated in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, or a related field
Comfortable working with youth athletes from varied backgrounds
Committed to attending weekly sessions (training, matches, and staff meetings)
Knowledge of injury prevention, acute injury management, and rehab processes
Strong communication skills and high professional standards
Able to work well in a team, as well as independently
Desirable:
Own transport (driving is helpful but not essential)
FA Safeguarding Certificate (or willing to complete)
Familiarity with the demands of grassroots or academy-level football
Understanding of youth development, maturation stages, and inclusive care delivery
