As a Vice President in our Prime Brokerage Cash & Controls team, you will leverage your exceptional technical and leadership skills to drive team success and deliver outstanding client solutions. Job responsibilities
1. Oversee and optimize payment processing and cash wire activities for institutional and retail clients
2. Design, implement, and monitor robust payment controls and standards
3. Lead investigations and resolution of complex cash and control breaks
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with global partners and stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues
5. Drive the design and implementation of key controls across the trade lifecycle process
6. Lead analysis and initiatives to increase STP (Straight Through Processing)
7. Develop, revise, and enforce company and department policies and procedures
8. Ensure all work items are completed within agreed timelines, setting high standards for the team
9. Prepare, analyze, and present metrics to senior management
10. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
11. Exceptional skills in using automation technologies to optimize systems and processes
12. Deep knowledge of market products, operating procedures, and relevant industry regulations
13. Strong leadership and team management experience
14. Strategic problem-solving skills and ownership of complex issues
15. Impeccable time management and ability to deliver at a high standard under pressure
16. FINRA licensing: SIE + Series 99
17. Advanced expertise in data analysis and ability to communicate data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions
18. Expertise in creating and delivering presentations to senior management and stakeholders, both in person and virtually
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
19. Significant experience in financial services, especially Corporate Banking
20. Strong payments understanding and background
21. Proven leadership in Prime Brokerage, Securities Settlements, or Asset Servicing
22. Extensive reconciliation experience
23. Advanced analytical skills
