Responsibilities
* Run security audits, identifying security loopholes and opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of security strategies.
* Perform internal vulnerability testing, uncovering weaknesses in the systems and implementing countermeasures to ensure the integrity of all data.
* Identify company-wide security challenges. Design and implement solutions to strengthen protection and streamline security practices across IT and infrastructure areas.
* Collaborate closely with privacy experts to ensure robust privacy compliance strategy and translate regulations into tech implementations.
* Stay up to date with security trends and threats. Share knowledge to ensure data protection best practices and foster a security-focused culture across the company.

* Reasoning ability. Given the necessary knowledge, you can solve complex problems. You think from first principles, resist biases, and identify details that matter.

The selection process
If you pass our screening, you’ll be asked to complete a few tests designed to assess how you approach unfamiliar problems. They’re challenging and may take several hours. If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to a series of interviews. We set the bar high and won’t extend an offer until we’re convinced we’ve found the right candidate. This role may stay open for months or be reposted.

To help you ramp up quickly, we recommend spending your first months working from our Milan office. We’ll support travel and accommodation. After that, you may work from Milan or London offices, or remotely from approved countries, as agreed at offer stage.
