Northampton Town Football Club is looking to recruit a part time Goalkeeper Coach to work with the Under 9-16 Goalkeepers. Roles and Responsibilities The role includes overseeing an age specific programme to the Under 9-16 goalkeepers. Delivering of age specific sylla bus to players in their charge. Ensuring each goalkeeper in the U9-16 groups has an Individual Learning Plan that is monitored and periodically reviewed. Assisting the Head of Coach Development and Lead phase coaches in developing and delivering the ILPs for these players. Completing o nline and electronic reviewing and asses sments of players and sessions. Communicating effectively with all team members and reporting back to the L ead Phase Coach. Working effectively w ithin a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent coaching. Have experience of working with the FIP, ensuring all player records, session planning and administration is completed in an accurate and timely manner. About The Candidate The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: Proven coaching experi ence. An ability to differentiate tasks based on ability and key stag es of player/child development. An approachable manner towards youn g people. Have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with other departm ent members and coaching staff. The job holder may also be required to carry out other duties assigned by the Academy Managers or Head of Coach Development as may be time to time reasonably. Willi ng to work flexible and unsocia ble hours in cluding evenings and weekends. Essential Qualities and Qualifications: UEFA B Goalkeeper Coaching Licence; UEFA B Licence Hold a current FA Level 2 Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAi) FA Youth Award (Modules 1, 2 and 3) Due to this post being in regulated activity, the potential employee will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the appropriate level.
