1. Field Based, will be expected to travel within the region and nationally.
Main Duties
2. Carry out kitchen extract system cleaning in accordance with TR19 Grease Carry out ventilation system cleaning in accordance with TR19 Installation of access doors into ventilation system in accordance with DW Carry out inspection of the Fire dampers in accordance with BS Conduct regular inspections of the physical plant as instructed Follow a preventative maintenance program as instructed Make recommendations for major repairs to the physical plant Maintain personal equipment & chemical stocks inventories Ensure that service sheets are submitted prior to leaving site Conduct and submit a pre-work risk assessment prior to every job Conduct all works as instructed via the schedule Follow the method statement at all times Ensure that work is conducted safely in line with the RAMS Ensure records are maintained Comply with site rules, communicate professionally with on-site contacts ensuring that work methods and results are explained prior to leaving site Leave the work area clean and tidy
What we are looking for
3. Basic air hygiene knowledge Ability to operate and maintain ventilation systems Hold a recognized qualification, not essential. Teamwork skills Client service skills Personal administration skills Analytical and problem-solving skills literacy skills including the ability to read manuals Effective verbal and listening communications skills Time management skills Complying with the requirements of the Occupational health and safety management policy Complying with the requirements of the Environmental Management System Policy
Must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
Ventilation systems management in accordance with TR19 Grease Ventilation cleaning techniques in accordance with TR19 Fire damper testing and issue reporting in accordance with BS Access doors installation in accordance with DW
