Position Responsibilities
* Create and innovate with strong conceptual design skills, integrating interdisciplinary criteria to advance project components.
* Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of interior and architectural materials, finishes, building systems, specifications, codes, standards, and market costs. Enrich designs through technical strategies and appropriate tools for research, design, and documentation across all project phases.
* Possess knowledge of interior architecture and architectural design including workplace planning, concept development (commercial, hospitality, residential), documentation, construction administration, furniture, and materials selection.
* Manage time and workload effectively to meet deadlines, with periodic guidance from project leaders, while sharing knowledge with less experienced staff.
* Exhibit initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high attention to detail at the project component level.
* Collaborate actively with project and consultant teams by critically evaluating ideas, contributing to the studio environment.
Minimum Qualifications
* Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
* At least 2 years of professional experience or equivalent skills and knowledge.
* Understanding of sustainable strategies and principles, including familiarity with WELL, LEED, or other green building certifications.
* Experience in commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.
* Knowledge of furniture and finishes, current industry trends, and requirements.
* Effective communication skills across written, oral, and visual mediums.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape, VR, Adobe Suite, and other graphic software.
* Experience with BIM/CAD standards and procedures.
