About the Role
This is a varied and active job involving tasks that combine desk duties with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and walking to accompany vehicles across the prison grounds.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the day-to-day running of a busy prison
* Be part of a supportive team doing all sorts of things – from security and searches at the gate, to managing deliveries, supervising visitors, and monitoring phone calls and CCTV
* Work a variety of shifts, including weekend and night shifts, to keep things running
Required Skills and Qualifications
No qualifications are required for this role. However, you should be a good communicator and able to keep calm under pressure. You will also need good judgement and common sense, and above all, be a great team player.
