We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Sefton to assist with the appointment of a Business Support Minute Taker, on a 3 -month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £13.63- £17.33 per hour Summary: To provide dedicated, high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Children with Complex Needs Service within Childrens Social Care. A primary function of this role is to attend formal professional meetings, including Strategy Meetings, to accurately and concisely record minutes and ensure effective administrative follow-up, upholding strict confidentiality regarding sensitive child protection information. Responsibilities: Attend Strategy Meetings and other professional meetings as required to act as the official minute taker. Ensure the minutes taken are clear, concise, accurate, and produced promptly for distribution. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Children with Complex Needs Service and the Help and Protect Teams. Ensure all client information and data is lawfully gathered, accurate, up-to-date, and only divulged in strict accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and common law duty of confidentiality. Contribute as appropriate to wider service developments within Childrens Services. Essentials: OCR (RSA II) qualification or equivalent, or equivalent experience. Word Processing qualification/experience. GCSE English and Maths (grades A-C) or equivalent NVQ qualifications. Proven experience of minute-taking in a formal setting. Proven clerical experience in an office environment. Experience in providing the full range of word processing services. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
