Kenna Recruitment has an immediate vacancy for an experienced Document Controller with one of the UKs leading M&E Contractors, using the EDMS SharePoint.

We are seeking a Document Controller, working with the project team for a large construction scheme in Essex to provide a high level of support utilising our system SharePoint, managing all functions of information management across all projects.
What we expect from you:
* Uploading of information.
* Audit quality check of all submittals
* Re-assign and publish all submittals
* Managing SharePoint protocols, lists and libraries.
* Arranging access for contractors and external users
* Assist Technical & Commercial departments with collation of tender packages.
* To keep effective and efficient archiving of all electronic and hard copy documentation.
* Maintain document registers and ensure these are up to date
* To ensure document flow is carried out by all departments in a timely manner
* To be or become efficient in the use of noted electronic document control systems including SharePoint
* To effectively manage all inbound callers to the main office number and act as first point of contact for all visitors
* Organise courier services when required
* Controlling and updating all project drawings and schedules
* Liaising with Technical Coordinators with regard to updated drawings/drawing register
* Carrying out regular drawing revision audits to ensure the correct revisions are being used by the Project Team at all times
* Making sure that drawings are kept up-to-date and current
* Ensuring and reminding originators of RFIs to close out any open forms where the response is been received
