Position: Finance Software Consultant
We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Finance Software Consultant to join our market-leading accounting software business. This is a permanent role requiring 22.5 hours per week, with a focus on supporting clients in installing financial software, providing training, and preparing year-end accounts. This position is primarily office-based in Uffcott, Wroughton, near Swindon, with the potential to work remotely. You will also need to travel to client sites and conferences (on average one or two times per month).
Responsibilities:
* Install financial software, including setting up chart of accounts, transferring client data, and training clients on the software (onsite or remotely).
* Provide refresher training on the use of financial software (onsite or remotely).
* Prepare year-end accounts for clients.
* Offer guidance on general accountancy within the scope of our solutions.
* Assist in updating training workbooks and software manuals in line with new releases.
* Provide support for the financial software.
* Attend conferences to promote Rialtas software and services.
* Become a subject matter expert in administrative software to ensure clear understanding of its links with financial accounts.
* Carry out any other related tasks as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience in finance reporting and a good understanding of finance software (e.g., Sage Accounts, Xero).
* Experience with inputting, managing, and delivering company accounts.
* AAT or equivalent qualification; ACCA is desirable.
* Experience in local government or a software business (desirable).
* Valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
