Architect / Technologist (3–5 Years Qualified) Full-time
My client is seeking an experienced and talented Architect / Technologist to join their team, working on bespoke private residential projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, dynamic and creative individual looking to develop a rewarding career within a design-led environment focused on high-quality, detailed residential architecture.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in technical residential detailing, ideally including exposure to high-end bespoke residential schemes. You will be confident working across all RIBA stages, with a strong understanding of construction detailing, UK Building Regulations, and project delivery.
You should be comfortable working independently as well as within multi-disciplinary teams, taking responsibility for your own workload and contributing effectively to project delivery. Experience with ArchiCAD is beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided.
Key responsibilities:
* Contribute to projects across all RIBA stages
* Produce detailed technical and construction information
* Work on bespoke private residential projects
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and wider design teams
* Support project delivery to time, cost, and quality expectations
Requirements:
* 3–5 years post-qualification experience
* Strong background in residential architecture and technical detailing
* Excellent understanding of UK planning, Building Regulations, and construction systems
* Strong design ability with a keen eye for detail
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving approach and attention to detail
* Understanding of building contracts desirable
* Willingness to travel within the UK when required
* Interest in classical or traditional architecture advantageous but not essential
