Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting services.
* Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns.
* Provide professional advice to clients on accounting and finance-related matters.
* Supervise and support junior team members in their professional development.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and retention.
* Report on portfolio performance and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
Profile
* A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
* Previous experience managing client portfolios within the business services industry.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Confidence in supervising and mentoring junior staff members.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
* A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car (transport) due to location of offices.
