About the Role You'll be part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team working with complex adolescent cases, including contextual safeguarding concerns, exploitation, and trauma-informed interventions. Your caseload will focus on supporting young people through tailored safeguarding plans, working closely with their families, schools, and partner agencies. Team structure typically includes: Qualified Social Workers Assistant Team Manager & Team Manager Youth Support Workers & Specialist Practitioners (e.g., exploitation or mental health) Admin support and access to personal assistants for time management️ Key Responsibilities Build meaningful, trust-based relationships with adolescents and their support networks Complete holistic assessments under statutory frameworks Lead safeguarding interventions for young people facing risks outside the home Coordinate services and safety planning across education, health, and criminal justice systems Maintain detailed case records and produce insightful reports Review outcomes and adapt plans to support progress and stability Advise on entitlements including housing, income, and specialist services✅ What We're Looking For Recognised Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent) Social Work England registration Strong communication and advocacy skills Experience supporting vulnerable adolescents and navigating multi-agency systems Solid grasp of child protection and contextual safeguarding principles Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver consistent care coordination Commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and trauma-informed practice Full driving licence and ability to travel within Surrey Why Join Us?
