Are you a passionate and reliable cook with experience in preparing hearty, traditional meals? We're looking for a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to join our kitchen team, with flexible hours available across weekdays, weekends, and as sickness cover.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook meals from a set menu to a high standard
2. Deliver traditional and basic dishes such as curries, shepherd's pie, lasagna, and other comfort classics
3. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
4. Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
5. Ensure consistent food quality and portion control
Requirements:
6. Basic DBS
7. NVQ Level 2
8. Proven experience cooking in a professional kitchen
9. Confidence preparing a variety of traditional meals
10. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders
11. Good communication and teamwork skills
12. Flexible availability, including weekend and sickness cover shifts
