We are recruiting for a Systems Administrator to join the Energy Asset team within Lancashire County Council.
Role & Responsibilities
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the Capital and Strategy Team as we continue to develop and deliver energy and water conservation initiatives. Your role will support the provision of a cost‑effective service covering energy matters across Lancashire County Council’s portfolio, including electricity, fuel and water. You will provide analytical statistics to support the wider team in reducing energy and water consumption, lowering emissions, and conserving natural resources.
Core responsibilities include:
* Provide analytical statistics to support energy and water conservation efforts.
* Support reduction of energy and water consumption and emissions.
* Collaborate with suppliers, customers and stakeholders to manage relationships.
* Work with Oracle Fusion invoicing, requisitioning and purchase order management.
Candidate Must Have Experience Of
* Proficient in the use of spreadsheets and database packages.
* Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collate, interpret and report on complex data.
* Experience of reconciling accounts and financial modelling of costs.
* A basic understanding of energy supply markets.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, escalating issues where appropriate.
* Experience of supervising and training less experienced staff.
