EXCITING OPPORTUNITY – DEPUTY HEADTEACHER
A specialist school in Newbury, Berkshire is seeking a Deputy Headteacher to join their leadership team on a permanent, term-time only basis. This role is ideal for an experienced educational leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Position: Deputy Headteacher

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent, term-time only
Requirements: QTS and relevant experience in SEMH education
About the Role:
The successful candidate will:
✔ Lead curriculum development and behaviour support across the school.
✔ Monitor student progress to ensure they achieve their full potential.
✔ Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, families, and external stakeholders.
✔ Support and uphold high standards in education, care, and clinical programmes.
✔ Play a key role in school leadership, working alongside the Headteacher and senior team.

This specialist SEMH school provides a broad and balanced curriculum for students aged 6-19. The school offers outdoor learning opportunities, including forest school, farm experiences, and horse riding. It is within a commutable distance from Swindon, Oxford, Andover, Basingstoke, and Reading.
