We are currently recruiting to our Haematology Team. This is an exciting time to join us:
* This would be an excellent opportunity for a doctor at IMT3 level to gain clinical and practical experience in Haematology, prior to application for specialist training in Haematology. Equally, doctors with prior experience in Haematology looking for a longer‑term role at a middle‑grade level or considering future CESR application, will be well suited to this role.
* Manchester Foundation Trust is the lead provider for Greater Manchester Haematological Cancer Diagnostic Partnership and also leads the North West Genomics Hub.

Main duties of the job
The Post
This is a Senior clinical fellow post for our North Manchester Haematology Department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual. Experience of clinical research would be an advantage as we have a very active clinical trials unit including early phase studies.
The post holder will work closely with the consultant and nursing team to support all aspects of the Haematology Department.
The successful candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Qualifications & Training
* Medical Degree
* Minimum of 2 years’ full time (or equivalent part time) hospital service in the ST1‑2 grade or higher
* Experience in General Haematology
* MRCP
* Experience in Malignant Haematology
* Experience in Non‑malignant Haematology
Audit
* Participation in Clinical Audit
* Teaching Medical Students
* Teaching Junior Medical Staff
Other Requirements
* Full registration (or eligible for full registration) with the General Medical Council
