Material Coordinator
Location: Newport
4-Month Contract
CAF are looking for a sharp, proactive Material & NCR Coordinator to keep their UK production line running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:
Be the first responder for material issues on the production line.
Perform daily checks to align material flow with system data.
Investigate shortages, damage, or missing parts and raise NCRs.
Lead non-conformance investigations using drawings, photos & reports.
Collaborate with engineering, warehouse, and control teams to keep production moving.
Raise rework requests, material change forms, and support root cause analysis.
Essentials:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant field.
Experience in rail manufacturing or design coordination.
Solid understanding of safe working practices in a safety-critical environment.
A self-starter with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Able to stay positive, flexible, and focused under pressure.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Previous experience of using ERP systems e.g. Baan
