Salesforce Developer – Financial Services | Uxbridge (Hybrid) Salary: £50,000 £60,000
Our client, a market-leading Financial Services business based in Uxbridge, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join their dynamic and collaborative team. With innovation at the heart of everything they do, they’re looking for someone who’s had previous in the financial sector.
The Role:
As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions that drive efficiency and support the company’s continued growth. Working closely with stakeholders across multiple departments, you’ll translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and contribute to ongoing platform enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
* Manage integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications using APIs, REST, and SOAP.
* Maintain data integrity through automation, validation rules, and data cleansing initiatives.
* Support Salesforce configuration activities, including Flows, Process Builder, and Reports/Dashboards.
* Provide technical documentation, testing, and deployment support across the full development lifecycle.
* Stay updated with Salesforce releases and recommend new features or best practices.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer within a commercial environment.
* Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud and Financial Services Cloud
* Hands-on experience with Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
* Solid knowledge of Salesforce integrations, APIs, and data management practices.
* Experience with version control (e.g. GitHub) and Agile project methodologies.
* Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II desirable).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
