We are looking for a salaried GP to recruit, working 6 sessions.
Main duties of the job
To work as anautonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services tothe practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical carewhilst complying with the PMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder willadhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effectivemanagement of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive,collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

We are afriendly and supportive practice basedin Washington with 5100 patients. Two GP partners are supported by brilliantteam of clinical and administrative staff who enable us to deliver effectivepatient care.
We are part of WashingtonPCN and have access to very supportive team of Social prescribers, Mentalhealth practitioners and clinical pharmacists as part of our PCN.
We consult using EMIS web system.

Job responsibilities
SALARIED GP
Sessions aremade up of fourteen appointments including face to face and telephoneappointments.
GP home visitsare conducted as required for care home and palliative patients.
AdditionalDuties
General adminincluding referrals, correspondence, lab results, prescriptions, and documentprocessing.
One duty doctorsession per week, dealing with on the day requests, queries and emergencies andworking with our care coordinators.
Attendance at clinicalmeetings.
Contract / QOF/ audit work as and when required.
Insurancereports and other non-GMS work for patients as required.
Participate in ourSame Day Service rota, as well as Extended Hours as required.
EnsureMandatory training is kept up to date.

Qualifications

17. Recent experience of working in general practice in the UK.
18. Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
19. Be on the medical performers list.
20. Commitment to and experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary and skill mixed team environment.
21. Experience of working to achieve standards within the Quality
22. and Outcome Framework (QOF).
23. Annual appraisal and revalidation, when appropriate
