Job Description
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Civil Engineering Graduate based in Lurgan.
Starting Salary: £30,000.00 (Subject to review)
Location: 37 Annesborough Road, Lurgan, Craigavon, Co Armagh, BT67 9JD
Working hours per week: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30, occasional Night and weekend work. 40hrs/week
Start date: September 2026

Amey operates and maintains the (DBFO 2) Project Road comprising sections of the A1, M1, A4, A101 and M12.
What You Will Do
* Carry out periodic inspections as per the Contract.
* Ensure accurate and effective collation of data.
* Ensure contract compliance on data quality management issues.
* Develop timely and accurate reports.
* Comply with the relevant health and safety legislation.
* Assist with the establishment and implementation of a programme of inspections and investigations.
* Assist with project administration as required.
* Record time accurately in project control systems.
* Out of hours working to support service contract requirements.
* Standby for emergencies.
* Successful completion of mandatory NHSS training requirement.
* Undertake appropriate training with the addition of new equipment and systems as and when necessary, via formal and informal training, including on the job training.
* In accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, all employees have a duty to comply with all Health and Safety Procedures and to be alert in identifying potential hazards by removing or minimising them wherever possible.
* Any other duties reasonably requested within the skills required for the role.
What You Will Bring
* Minimum 2:2 Civil Engineering or related profession degree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) is desirable.
* Full UK driving license.
* Reasonably good verbal communicator who can present arguments and ideas.
* Can produce reports to a good standard.
* Have good networking and Problem-solving skills.
* Passion for developing your skills both professional and personally.
* Have the enthusiasm to be part of a high performing team and a drive for success.
* DBS requirement.
