Closing Date: 3rd April 2026 The Health and Safety Officer will support the Health and Safety Manager in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures. This role is critical in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all employees, particularly in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of motorsport. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to health and safety standards and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel. Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards Training and Communication: Support the organization of health and safety training sessions for staff. Communicate safety procedures and guidelines effectively across the team Incident Reporting: Manage the reporting and documentation of health and safety incidents and near misses. Assist in investigating incidents and recommend corrective actions Risk Assessments: Assist in conducting risk assessments and ensuring that appropriate control measures are in place. Ensure identified actions are closed out and RAs reviewed COSHH: Assist in conducting COSHH assessments are completed as necessary Health Promotion: Support initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of health and safety within the organization. Contribute to health and wellness programs for employees Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of health and safety training, incidents, and audits. Ensure documentation is accessible and up to date Collaboration: Work closely with team leaders and employees to foster a proactive safety culture and encourage reporting of safety concerns Continuous Improvement: Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives for continuous improvement in health and safety standards Requirements Driven by high performance What do you need to bring to the team? NEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent level of training Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations, e.g. PUWER and best practices Experience in a motorsport or engineering environment Experience conducting audits, investigations and developing documentation Confident communicator, comfortable engaging both shop-floor teams and senior management Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and health and safety software Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially A team like no other.
