Apprentice Welder/Fabricator role at Scottish Apprenticeships

Responsibilities
* Carry out fabrication on pipework as per engineering drawings with tight tolerances
* Stripping and re-assembling of heat exchangers and pipework for maintenance
* Carry out welding to X-Ray, MPI, DPI and UT standards
* To use a variety of welding methods - TIG, MIG, MMA, and SAW
* Ensure all Company welding logs are completed in line with procedure
Apprenticeship Details
As an apprentice at Glacier Energy, you will complete a 4-year Modern Apprenticeship programme through Tullos Training Ltd. This includes completion of the following qualifications - SVQ in Performing Engineering Operations at SCQF Level 5, National Certificate (NC) at SCQF Level 6, and EAL Diploma in Engineering at SCQF Level 7.
