Sanctuary are excited to be launching a new supported living service for individuals with mental health needs and are looking for a passionate and experienced manager to lead and shape this service from the outset.
As the Local Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and development of the service, ensuring high:quality, person:centred support that promotes independence, recovery, and wellbeing. You will lead a team of support staff, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Leading the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the team and liaison with the Area Service Manager

Developing and maintaining relationships with partners, key stakeholders, and external agencies

Overseeing the overall delivery of the service

Working closely with our internal and external partners to achieve KPI's
:
Overseeing the service's financial performance and managing the budget
:
Managing the recruitment, performance, and development of staff
:
Flexibility around working hours is expected in accordance with the needs of the service
:
Responsibility for health and safety in the service
Skills and experiences:

Proven experience of working in a managerial role within a similar service

NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
:
Strong leadership and problem:solving skills
:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
:
Compassionate, caring, and hard working with a hands:on approach to support
:
Experience of working in a personalised way supporting service users to maximise opportunities for personal development
:
Proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
