An exciting opportunity has arisen for aSenior Quantity Surveyorto join our Bristol &South Westregionbased at our Bristol Office
Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you willbe responsible forthe day to day financial, cost control and reporting of one or more developments.
This isa great careerdevelopment opportunity within our business, as you will be involved in all stages of the project and your duties will include;
* Supporting project delivery whilst achieving target margins
* Ensuring all necessary contractual processes have beenobservedand notices issued,
* Preparing and negotiating interim valuations and final accounts including all necessary measurement
* The management of the variation account
* Site visits tomonitorsubcontractor activity and build up payments and working closely with site teams and clients.
With excellent people skills, you will develop andmaintainpositive working relationships with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and your colleagues across the Regeneration division.
We are looking for a proactive,talentedand ambitious individual ideally with a formal qualification in a relevant subject and withpreviousquantity surveying and NHF SOR experience within the construction industry.
You will be client-driven, with strong decision making and communication skills, andhave the ability toprioritise work against tight deadlines and sometimes conflicting priorities.
You will need todemonstrateexcellent communication skills, strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and work well within a team.
