The Vacancy The purpose of the role is to procure new customers and provide account management to them as well as existing customer teams. Acting as a dedicated resource and working alongside their operational staff to provide a single point of contact for all their needs. Main Responsibilities Engaging and developing relationships with potential new customers as well as actively managing existing customer relationships. Develop an understanding of the marketplace and where potential opportunities will arise. Look for opportunities to develop new product offerings and to enter new markets. Maintain open and honest communication with individual customer teams. Review of site-specific requirements and ensuring these are adhered to. Work with project teams to understand upcoming demand forecasts and shortfalls. Work within a CRM process that ensures customer relationships are held at the appropriate level. Skills/Knowledge Good communication skills are essential as is an understanding of the transport industry. Knowledge of construction-based customers and the requirements of project sites would be a big advantage. The ability to think quickly and manage multiple activities into an overall plan, while coordinating with other stakeholders. Ability to generate positive working relationships across a diverse team. Diplomatic and tactful with a professional approach. Capable of professional written and verbal communication with a passion for delivering quality and meeting customer requirements. Qualifications Required 5 G.C.S.E.’s (or equivalent) at Grade C or above. These must include Maths and English. Good organisational skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programmes Preferred Possess previous administration or account management relevant training / certification.
