Job Title: Manufacturing Manager – Zr (Chemicals Plant)
Location: Swinton, Manchester
Hours: Full-time, 37hrs/week (on call for emergencies)

We design and manufacture high-quality products, and we're looking for a Manufacturing Manager to lead our Zr chemicals manufacturing function.
What you'll do: Manufacturing Manager
* Lead the Zr manufacturing team to meet customer demand while driving LEAN process improvements, cost reductions, and waste minimisation.
* Report on all KPIs, including financial, operational, HSE, quality, and HR metrics.
* Collaborate with engineering and planning teams to deliver sustainable operational and preventative maintenance strategies.
* Drive continuous improvement and implement a data-driven, LEAN culture across the plant.
* Ensure prompt resolution of audit findings, quality issues, and customer feedback.
What we're looking for: Manufacturing Manager
* Proven track record of leading process improvements that deliver measurable results.
* Experienced in driving lasting cultural and operational change across a business.
----------------------------------- Essential Criteria: Manufacturing Manager
* Degree in engineering, chemistry or closely related subject
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Maths and Science (Grade C/4).
* IT literate with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* At least 5 years leadership experience within chemical manufacturing.
Desirables
* A supervisory qualification such as ILM Level 5, or equivalent leadership qualification,
* Lean Six Sigma Black belt
* Environmental management, awareness and understanding (ISO 14001)
* Direct experience of driving through sustainable quality improvements.
* SAP experience

* Experience in workplace design, ergonomics or employee experience initiatives.
