Working Hours 07:30 to 17:00 42 hours per week Location Glasgow About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take full ownership of team performance, drive engagement, and shape a positive, professional culture. You will play a key role in influencing behaviours, improving processes, and ensuring your team consistently meets and exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and manage a team to deliver outstanding customer service Provide day-to-day direction, guidance, and support to team members Coach and develop individuals through regular feedback, training, and performance reviews Conduct appraisals, manage performance, and handle disciplinary matters where required Monitor team performance against KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers Ensure workloads are effectively planned, prioritised, and delivered within deadlines Act as a role model for professionalism, customer focus, and company values Support the delivery of the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver What We’re Looking For Proven experience leading, motivating, and managing a team, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders Strong coaching and development skills with a track record of improving team performance Confident decision-maker with a proactive and solutions-focused approach Excellent organisational and communication skills Strong customer service experience, both internally and externally Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships Experience using systems such as Axapta, On-Guard, and Microsoft Office Ability to prioritise workload and perform under pressure to meet deadlines Previous experience within the hire industry is desirable Training and Development We will provide everything you need to succeed in this role.
