Join to apply for the Test & Data Migration Manager role at Ricoh Europe.
Change your job, change your workplace, change your future... Ricoh is recruiting for a Test & Data Migration Manager to play a pivotal role in transforming our IT operating model, enabling Ricoh to operate as a modern, agile, and service‑oriented technology organisation.
We’re looking for a seasoned professional to lead the design and implementation of internal testing and data migration capabilities from scratch. This is a rare opportunity to shape a core function that underpins business continuity, operational excellence, and long‑term growth.
You’ll be accountable for establishing a robust, scalable, and transparent testing and data migration Centre of Excellence (CoE), ensuring every go‑live is smooth, secure, and disruption‑free. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in building things the right way, values long‑term impact over short‑term fixes, and thrives in environments where quality and reliability truly matter.
Build Testing & Migration Capabilities From Scratch
* Define and implement the strategy, frameworks, teams, and tools to run an industrialised testing and data migration CoE.
* Establish repeatable, auditable processes for test planning, execution, automation, and data validation.
* Drive the adoption of automation, standardisation, and re‑usability across testing and migration activities.
Test Strategy & Execution
* Develop and own the end‑to‑end test strategy, covering unit, integration, UAT, regression, and performance testing.
* Define scope, schedule, resource needs, and success criteria for all testing phases.
* Ensure traceability between test cases and business requirements, with clear documentation and version control.
Data Migration Strategy & Quality Assurance
* Design and deliver a comprehensive data migration strategy from scratch, including mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
* Align migration activities with project milestones and go‑live plans.
* Lead dry runs, mock loads, and audits to ensure repeatability and reliability.
* Develop dashboards and reports to support migration sign‑off and data quality assurance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
* Act as the primary point of contact for testing and migration streams.
* Provide regular updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders.
* Coordinate cross‑functional teams including business users, developers, testers, and external vendors.
Qualifications
You will ideally have:
* Proven experience building testing and/or migration capabilities from scratch, ideally in complex enterprise environments.
* Background of experience in similar roles demonstrating commitment, resilience, and pride in delivery.
* Hands‑on experience with ERP, CRM, or cloud platform migrations (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
* Strong understanding of hybrid environments (Cloud, on‑prem, SaaS) and enterprise service management principles (ITIL, DevOps).
* Ability to translate business requirements into scalable testing and migration services.
* Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, Azure DevOps) and data migration technologies (e.g. SQL, ETL, Python, PowerShell).
* Familiarity with test automation frameworks and performance testing tools is highly desirable.
* Holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
* Certifications in project/program management (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum) would be a distinct advantage.
* Certifications in data management or migration (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Data Engineer Associate, Informatica, SAP Data Services) would also be highly desirable.
In return for your commitment, you can expect
* A competitive salary package
* Industry leading benefits
