Head Chef – Loughborough Location: Loughborough Hours: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3 pm Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum Are you an experienced Head Chef looking for a great work-life balance? We’re looking for a talented chef to lead the kitchen in a modern, on-site restaurant at a prestigious science park in Loughborough. Catering for a variety of companies, you’ll create fresh, high-quality dishes that keep businesses fuelled throughout the day. What’s in it for you? Sociable hours – no evenings or weekends Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum Modern, well-equipped kitchen A supportive and professional team environment Key Responsibilities: Lead the kitchen team – oversee food preparation, cooking, and service to ensure high standards Develop seasonal menus – create fresh and innovative breakfast and lunch options that cater to diverse dietary requirements Maintain kitchen efficiency – organise workflows, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth daily operations Manage stock and orders – monitor stock levels, place orders, and control food costs to maximise profitability Ensure food safety and hygiene – maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and ensure all HACCP procedures are followed Train and support staff – provide guidance, mentorship, and training to kitchen team members Collaborate with management – work closely with the catering and site management teams to deliver excellent customer service What we’re looking for: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef A passion for fresh food and innovative menu development Strong leadership skills and a team-focused approach Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen management Recruitment Process: To apply, complete the short application form and upload your CV.
