Project Manager (132kV) – Scotland Competitive salary Company Car (no allowance) Location: Scotland (site-based with 2 days WFH travel to Head Office) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in 132kV electrical infrastructure projects to join our growing power and energy division. You’ll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project in Scotland, overseeing planning, design, construction, and commissioning stages. The role is primarily site-based, with 2 days working from home and occasional travel to the Head Office as required. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage all phases of 132kV project delivery, ensuring performance against cost, time, and quality objectives. * Oversee on-site operations, health and safety compliance, and coordination between internal teams and subcontractors. * Manage client and stakeholder relationships, providing clear communication and progress updates. * Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies. * Drive best practices in environmental and quality standards across the project. * Liaise with design, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project execution. About You * Proven experience as a Project Manager in the power, utilities, or transmission and distribution (T&D) sector. * Strong technical understanding of 132kV infrastructure (substations, cabling, overhead lines, or similar). * Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills. * Commercially astute with solid contract management knowledge (NEC experience preferred). * Willingness to work primarily on-site in Scotland with flexibility for head office travel.
