Base pay range

Shift pattern: Various shift patterns.
Pay rate from: £14.00 and £14.50 plus holiday pay and pension.

Responsibilities
* Provide emotional and social support by building meaningful relationships and encouraging engagement with peers and the wider community
* Promote self-esteem and respect, helping clients feel valued
* Support positive life choices and independence appropriate to each client’s age and abilities
* Maintain accurate records of events, observations, progress, safeguarding, health and safety checks
* Collaborate to create, implement, and review individual care plans
* Work with health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
* Facilitate supervised contact with families as necessary
* Assist with daily living tasks in line with care plans
* Perform domestic duties and involve clients in planning, shopping, and meals to ensure a varied, balanced diet
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent (preferred)
* Previous experience in a similar care role
* Ability to work flexible shifts
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach
* Strong record-keeping and organizational abilities
* Commitment to promoting welfare and development of each individual
