Contract Support / Helpdesk Coordinator
Location: Southampton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
Salary: £27,976 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Start date: ASAP
We are looking for a Contract Support / Helpdesk Coordinator to join a busy team based in Southampton. This role is office-based and sits at reception, acting as a key point of contact for visitors while also supporting the helpdesk and contract support function.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Welcoming visitors and acting as the first point of contact
2. Handling helpdesk requests via phone, email, and internal systems
3. Logging jobs and allocating work to engineers
4. Supporting planned maintenance and work orders
5. Producing basic daily and weekly reports
6. Maintaining accurate records and supporting contract administration
7. Liaising with clients, engineers, and management to ensure smooth service delivery
8. Answering switchboard calls when required
About You:
9. Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
10. Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
11. Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
12. Calm under pressure and able to adapt to changing priorities
13. Able to work well as part of a team and on your own
Experience & Qualifications:
14. GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English required
15. Previous customer service, admin, or helpdesk experience is desirable
