Overview
Portadown Vauxhall is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team on site. You will join a busy aftersales team, reporting to the aftersales manager. The role offers potential for progression and continuous training opportunities through our in-house brand development. Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time. Salary: OTE up to £35,000 (basic salary £29,000 per annum). Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00–17:30, Friday 08:00–17:00, Saturday 09:00–13:00 on rota basis.

Responsibilities
* Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for customers
* Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts and accessories that will benefit the customer
* Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments based on workload and call volumes
* Managing a high-volume of customers daily as well as telephone calls and online booking queries
* Informing customers of turnaround times and ensuring effective communication while their car is in the workshop
* Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems when bookings are made
Requirements / Qualifications
As a Service Advisor you must have energy, a warm personality and a passion for delivering a first-class customer experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly are essential. Previous experience using Kerridge/ADP is advantageous, as is knowledge of other dealer systems. You should be a strong team player who can also work independently using your own initiative. Experience in a similar automotive industry role with a focus on customer service and cars is preferred.
