Aneurin Bevan University Health Board supports flexible working. There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 reflecting the living wage of £12.60/hour (£24,638/year), until the 2025/26 pay uplift is confirmed.

Job Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic Nurse (NMC part 3) to join the Newport School Nursing Team for 22.5 hours/week, all year round. Applications are also welcome from SCPHN students due to qualify in April 2025.
Job Purpose
* Provide accessible, young person-friendly, high-quality clinical services to a defined caseload of school-aged children and their families, including health surveillance and promotion.
* Promote health through school and community-based education and direct school health programs, collaborating with education staff.
* Contribute to safeguarding and protection of at-risk children, providing ongoing monitoring, support, and advice.
Knowledge of Welsh is desirable; English and Welsh speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
